Skip is a quiet easy going gelding. He is broken in and going nicely, had 3 rides as at 3/8/12. He will suit ladies or an experienced juvenile rider in any chosen field.

This guy is friendly and has a want to do attitude. Easy to be around and handle. Does all the usual stuff, catch, shoe, float, tie up, trim feet, trim ears, mane, wash, rug the list goes on.

6-12-08 Buckskin gelding by Lynx Little Pep (IMP) Q-16473 out of Storm Cat Q-63927. Arapahpoe is broken in and going well. He is a well grown gelding that will suit drafting, rodeo events, pleasure or cow horse work.

Arapahoe has recently been learning to carry a rope and take wieght by pulling, dragging and holding the weight. He is taking to it like a champ, he takes it all in his stride, swinging the rope and dragging objects.

He attended the ABHA Barrel competition in Moura on the the 17th June and trotted an Exhibition run and also competed in a fun run in the afternoon - all at a trot and again took his first outing in his stride. He is easy horse to travel and get alone with.

Just recently we travelled from Victoria to the Ponderosa Stud in Queensland to purchase a Stud Quality Colt. The team at Ponderosa were very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. We were shown a selection of fine colts to choose from (which made our decision a hard one), they were all of exceptional quality and their pedigrees were outstanding. Their values, beliefs and experience was very refreshing.

I would not hesitate to recommend buying a Ponderosa horse to anyone.

All of their horses possess temperament, type, conformation and are very sound in mind and body and their prices are very reasonable. We are more than happy with our purchase and would make the trip form Victoria to Queensland again any day for future purchases.
